Review Copilot is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our Chrome Extension and related services.

By installing and using Review Copilot, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We adhere to a "Zero Storage Principle" regarding your business content.

1.1 Personal Information (Account Data) When you log in via Google OAuth (Supabase Auth), we collect:

• User ID and Email address.
• Profile picture (avatar) and Name (for display purposes only).
• Subscription status (Free, Pro, or Ultra) and validity period.

1.2 Usage Data & Permissions

• No Page Reading: Unlike other extensions, Review Copilot does not automatically read or scan the content of your open browser tabs.
• User-Initiated Data: We only process the specific text you explicitly paste into the extension's input field.
• Technical Data: We collect anonymous technical logs (e.g., API error rates, extension crash reports) solely to improve stability.

1.3 Input Data (Transient Processing)

• The Content You Paste: When you paste a customer review into the Review Copilot input box, this text is transmitted securely to our backend (Edge Functions) solely for the purpose of generating a reply.
• No Persistent Storage: We DO NOT store the text of the reviews you paste or the AI-generated replies in our database. Once the reply is returned to your browser, the text data is discarded from our processing servers.

1.4 Cookie & Local Storage

Local Storage: We use your browser's local storage to save your preferences (e.g., selected Tone, Language) and authentication tokens locally on your device. This data is not synced to our servers except for necessary authentication checks.
